The Las Vegas Raiders and their fans are really excited for new head coach Josh McDaniels. Apparently, one national media outlet has faith in the new HC as well. Jamie Erdahl of NFL Network chose him to win Coach of the Year.
McDaniels has a lot of talent on his roster. If the Raiders win the AFC West, he will absolutely be in contention to win the award. It is arguably the best division in football, and McDaniels' offense will have to be on full display.
Shootouts will happen weekly when you have Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, Justin Herbert, and Derek Carr in the same division.
Other head coaches like the Bills' Sean McDermott and the Ravens' John Harbaugh will be frontrunners for the award. It will be quite the race for the Raiders' new HC and the rest of the AFC.
