Derek Carr and Davante Adams have a connection off the field.
Yet, their connection on the field hasn't yielded many positive results.
However, ahead of Sunday's contest against the Denver Broncos, the two must get on the same page and produce an offense that leads the Raiders to a win. The good news is Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels feels as though there is no reason to worry about the two stars. He believes they will produce.
"Our goal is to continue to get better and improve," McDaniels said. "We've learned a lot, we really have, over the first so many weeks here. And it doesn't always transfer immediately into perfection relative to execution and results, but we've learned a lot about what we need to do better.
"We've learned a lot about what we can improve on in practice, and they work at it. To me, if you know what you need to do. And you work hard at it and you have a great attitude and approach to it, and you're consistent with the way that you're working, you have a great opportunity to improve. And that's what I see."
Through three games, Carr has amassed 850 yards and six touchdowns to go along with four interceptions. He sits 16th in the league in QBR (48.4) and has a completion percentage of 60.8 percent.
Adams sits 24th in the league in receptions (17), 30th in the league in yards (130), and second in touchdowns (three).
The two will need to get on track if they aim to take down AFC West foe Denver and improve to 1-3 on the season.
