The Las Vegas Raiders truly have one of the more special players in the league. I'm willing to bet that if the Raiders had better players around Maxx Crosby, his stats would not only be better, but he would get more love than he does now.

Crosby took over the game on Sunday against the New York Giants, as he had an amazing night and led the defense to a near-shutout performance. The Raiders gave up a touchdown late in the game to keep that shutout from happening but still were able to get the 30-6 win.

Against the Giants, Crosby was not only a leader and likely the best player on the field, but he was also making history. Here are a few of the ways he made history on Sunday that the Raiders' PR team tweeted out:

DE Maxx Crosby forces Giants QB Tommy DeVito out for a loss of one yard, notching his third sack of the day. Crosby now has three career games with 3.0+ sacks, tied for the fourth most of such games in the NFL since 2019. Crosby's three games with 3.0+ sacks are tied for the fourth most in Raiders history and tied for the second most (Howie Long, 3) among players in their first five seasons. DE Maxx Crosby (8.5 sacks) is the first Raiders defender with at least 8.5 sacks through 9 games of a single season since 1999 (Darrell Russell, 8.5). DE Maxx Crosby now has 77 career TFLs, passing Jared Allen (76), DeMarcus Ware (76), T.J. Watt (76) for the 5th most in NFL history (since 1999) among players in their first 75 career games.

The Las Vegas Raiders are back on the winning side. It only took a standout performance on both sides of the ball after firing Josh McDaniels for that to happen.

The vibes are back.
