On Thursday, the Las Vegas Raiders made a really cool and important signing, especially for all of the team's fans from the Bay Area, mainly Oakland.
They signed Rejzohn Wright to the practice squad, whose name may sound familiar. He is from Oakland and played at junior college there while on the show 'Last Chance U.'
Wright ended up playing at Oregon State after playing at Laney College, where he went undrafted but was signed by the Carolina Panthers right after the draft.
Wright is a 6'2" cornerback, a position with the size that the Raiders could easily use. He is on the practice squad, but let's see if he makes any noise there.
In order to sign him, the Raiders had to let go of tight end John Samuel Shenker.
