On Friday morning, the Las Vegas Raiders let fullback Jakob Johnson know that they were going to let him go. Johnson was actually the one who let everyone know on Twitter that the move was happening.

It was a surprising move, to say the least, but the Raiders had to do something in terms of roster space.

On Friday, Pierce addressed the move when he got to the podium for his daily press conference.

"Yeah, obviously, Jak is very important to our team with the energy and the tempo and everything he's done," Pierce told reporters. "You know the way the league works; it's day in and day out. Things change, things come up, you have to make decisions, tough roster decisions. We'll be fine there, and then hopefully, something works out in near future to get him back."

It sounds like there is the potential to bring back Jakob Johnson, who is a big part of the run game. He is the lead blocker at times, and sometimes, they will even throw him in motion to block the outside. Be on the lookout for a potential move soon.
