Raiders confirm why stars haven't been as active in the game plan

The Las Vegas Raiders have not started great in terms of their record, but you all already knew that. But, they are definitely getting better. Even at 1-4, there is still hope for this team to make the playoffs, especially after their performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, where they nearly won the game.
I'll just say that the vibes around the team are much better this week than they were last week.
But, there is still something missing. The offense is still not hitting its full potential. Some of their star players on that side of the ball aren't being involved as much.
"Yeah, anytime you miss a guy with injury, it's tough to get him back in the flow of things," Raiders offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi said Tuesday. "Hunter [Renfrow] missing time with injury and obviously Darren [Waller] missing time with injury and most of the Kansas City game with an injury, so we haven't really had a chance to have those guys on the field together, as a collective unit, so we are working towards that, so we will see how it goes this week.
"… We got to get them out there first, make sure they are healthy and ready to go, and that's the first step."
We know the two haven't been involved in the game plan much, however, we didn't know why. A lot of people thought it was because of the Carr-Adams connection that dates back to their days in college.
To hear that it's been hard for the two to be implemented as much as they would like because they just have been simply injured should make fans feel better for a few reasons.
First, that means that their time will come when they do get healthy. That means that they aren't purposely not involving the two in the game plan. Second, think about what this offense can do when those two stars get healthy and get back on track.
Hopefully, this bye week helped with that, and we see a great offense at work on Sunday against the Houston Texans.
