Raiders finish high in hardest strength of schedule for 2023

It wasn't easy for the Las Vegas Raiders last year, as they struggled a lot, and didn't come close to any of the expectations that were set by the media and the fans.
A lot of people had this team making the playoffs last year, and why wouldn't they? This team did it the year before with a better roster on paper and an interim head coach.
So, the fall-off was kind of out of nowhere.
But now that the hard part is out of the way, they can get back to winning in 2023, right? Maybe. As things are looking right now, it may be even harder or just as hard.
The Raiders 2023 season definitely won't be easy. Sam Hoppen on Twitter did a deep dive into the teams' strength of schedule based on projected win totals. What he found out won't make Raiders fans happy.
Hoppen posted a graph of the teams with the hardest schedules based on those projected win totals, and the Raiders were high on the graph, one of the few times Raiders fans don't want their team to be ranked high on any list.
There are only three teams who could have a harder strength of schedule than the Raiders. The New England Patriots could have the hardest schedule, with the Buffalo Bills, and Kansas City Chiefs following them in that order.
All four teams share two divisions, the AFC East and the AFC West, both of which could be considered the two best divisions in the AFC and maybe the NFL at times.
But also, the two divisions just so happen to play each other in the 2023 season, so that definitely doesn't help either. In 2023, the Raiders will play the Chiefs, Broncos, Chargers, Jets, Packers, Patriots, Vikings, Steelers, and Giants all at home. They will play the Chiefs, Broncos, Chargers, Bears, Bills, Dolphins, Lions, and Colts on the road.
The good news is that the Raiders get one more home game this year. But, the schedule is looking tough, even though we don't know when they will play who on what dates.
