The Las Vegas Raiders made some big changes on Tuesday, firing Josh McDaniels and Dave Ziegler. This is a move that was long overdue but has finally happened.
There is also an announcement that the Raiders will likely go with Aidan O'Connell as their quarterback this Sunday against the New York Giants.
But another decision was made in terms of the Raiders and their coaching staff. They also let go of offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi.
Now, Josh McDaniels called the plays for the team, so I'm not 100% sure what Lombardi actually did on game day, but it seems like owner Mark Davis just wants to clean house for any guy who has New England Patriots ties.
The Raiders will be coached by interim head coach Antonio Pierce on Sunday and moving forward.
