The Las Vegas Raiders have their general manager now, and it wasn't who anyone thought it would be until the Raiders gave him a second interview. Tom Telesco, the former general manager of the Los Angeles Chargers, will be handling things for the silver and black from here on out.

The first thing on Telesco's to-do list is to find a new offensive coordinator and most of the staff on that side of the ball. I guess you could say another to-do would be to retain defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, too, as he is getting interest in head coaching gigs from other teams.

A lot of people have questions about who the offensive coordinator may be in 2024, but I think I know exactly who Telesco wants. Let's break it down.

Telesco wants former Los Angeles neighbor as OC for Raiders

During this hiring process, the Raiders have reached out to and interviewed Zac Johnson, the Los Angeles Rams quarterback coach and passing game coordinator. He is becoming somewhat of a hot candidate.

Last season, the Chargers, the team Telesco was the GM for, interviewed Robinson several times. He was their top candidate last season until Kellen Moore became available when the Cowboys let him go.

So, it would really only make sense that Telesco would want Robinson. I mean, look at what the Rams' offense did this season, including their passing game, which featured a crazy season by Puca Nacua. He would be a great hire by the silver and black.
