The Las Vegas Raiders just finished up their introductory press conference for new general manager Tom Telesco and head coach Antonio Pierce, who they hired this week and last week.
However, they have still yet to hire an offensive coordinator or an offensive staff. But they have interviewed several candidates, and now we can add one more to the list, a guy who has been rumored to be interested all offseason long.
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Raiders are scheduling an interview with former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury later this week.
Kingsbury was the head coach in Arizona for four years and has been looked at as an offensive savant. He is a guy that a lot of teams with open OC positions would likely love to have.
The Raiders need to hire their guy soon, and Kingsbury is a legitimate candidate.
