The Las Vegas Raiders are called "Patriots West" for a reason.

The Raiders head coach, Josh McDaniels, was an offensive coordinator there before his time with the Raiders. Mick Lombardi, the Raiders offensive coordinator, was there as well, along with Patrick Graham being in that tree at some time during his career.

Then you have Jimmy Garoppolo, Jakobi Meyers, Brian Hoyer, and Adam Butler. I'm missing a lot of others, but those are the most noticeable at this moment.

Meyers, who played there for four years, ended things with the Patriots on bad terms. His rookie contract expired, and the team decided not to offer him another contract and instead offered JuJu Smith-Schuster a contract.

We see which side is going well and which isn't. Meyers is having a stellar start to the season, while Smith-Schuster is struggling to play and just has 14 catches for just 86 yards.

Recently, Meyers sent subliminal shots at the Patriots on Instagram, so it looks, anyway.

His caption read, "could've made it with him… I rather without though."

This could mean nothing, but it certainly feels like it is aimed at the Patriots.
