One of the more exciting things happened to the Las Vegas Raiders we have been waiting on for months. Josh Jacobs, the league's best running back in 2022, just signed a one-year deal to rejoin the Raiders.
The deal is for $12 million rather than the $10 he was originally offered.
Jacobs will now be available to play in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos.
On Sunday, he rejoined the team at their facilities but made an interesting comparison when asked how it felt to be back. Looking as happy as ever, Jacobs said it felt like when you're away from your bed for a while.
"Man, It's almost like, you know, when you've been away from your bed," Jacobs said on Sunday. "I wanna get back to it. So I'm just happy to be around the guys. You know, there's a lot of guys that I'm happy to introduce myself to, you know, also put myself to. So it's gonna be fun, man. I'm ready to come in and get the work."
A portion of the Raiders fanbase was split on their feelings for Jacobs. Some thought he was being selfish, only thinking about himself. However, after watching him return to the facility, you can tell he loves being a Raider.
