Miami Dolphins superstar WR Tyreek Hill is having none of it.

On Wednesday, the Cheetah took to Twitter/X to stand up for his partner in crime on the gridiron, Jaylen Waddle, following growing speculation about his trade value and debate on whether or not it'd be worth considering shopping him away from Miami.

Earlier in the week, former Dolphins executive vice vide president of football operations Mike Tannenbaum proposed a hypothetical trade on ESPN in which he had Miami trade Waddle to the Kansas City Chiefs in exchange of Trent McDuffie.

Obviously, such a trade would be highly unlikely to happen in the real world, but it had fans talking to the point where Hill thought it necessary to step in and call the idea ludicrous.

You gotta love Tyreek saying that "Waddle is the future." Talk about an iconic duo.

In all seriousness, Waddle's value to the Dolphins shouldn't be seen as simply a quality WR2. The uniqueness of Mike McDaniel's offense lies in its speed in everything that they do. Taking away Waddle from the equation would not only mean missing out on their No. 2 but taking away a crucial element of the unit.

While it's true the Dolphins could use more size on offense for certain matchups, it shouldn't take away what they do best.

This kind of ideas are fun in June and July when we have nothing else to talk about in the NFL world but right now, Tannenbaum's idea is purely crazy talk.
