The Miami Dolphins are making the correct decision in taking it slow with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s recovery process.

Tagovailoa suffered his second concussion of the season in last week’s loss to the Green Bay Packers. However, he was able to finish the game without exhibiting any concussion-like symptoms until the following day.

Dolphins fans received an update on Tagovailo’s current status with the team from quarterbacks coach Darrell Bevell. On Thursday, Bevell revealed that Tagovailoa is not participating in meetings while he continues working with the team’s medical staff.

Many believe Miami should shut Tagovailoa down for the remainder of the season. Whil having concerns is normal, the only people that understand the severity of this particular injury are Tagovailoa and the team's doctors.

It’s an unfortunate reality, but there is a realistic possibility that Tagovailoa has played his last snap this season. If Tagovailoa doesn’t return this season, it will be up to back-up quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to right the ship and guide Miami into the postseason.
