The Miami Dolphins are among the most injury-plagued teams in the league. Four starting offensive linemen have missed time during the year. Tyreek Hill is dealing with a significant ankle injury. Key starters have suffered season ending ligament and/or tendon tears in the last few weeks.
Now, Miami is dealing with three more players suffering from significant injuries.
RB De'Von Achane (toe), C Liam Eichenberg (calf), and CB Xavien Howard (hip) are all listed as "did not practice" on the Wednesday practice report.

As the Dolphins are on a short week due to having played on Monday night, the practice report is an estimated one, meaning the players listed would have been held out today in the event there was a normal practice.
Howard was laboring and in pain following a collision early in the Dolphins' loss to the Titans on Monday. However, he was able to stay in the game and play throughout. Eichenberg also was able to play throughout the game, but his potential absence even further clouds the team's depleted offensive line. Achane fell sharply behind Raheem Mostert in carries on Monday night 21 to 7. As such, one has to wonder if that normally more even split was because Achane was dealing with a toe injury that was limited him.
The Dolphins will hit the practice field on Thursday as they prepare for the New York Jets on Sunday at 1:00 pm ET at Hard Rock Stadium.
