The Miami Dolphins (8-7) are in the midst of a 4-game losing streak that is pushing them further and further away from the AFC playoffs.

Even worse is the effect it's having on QB Tua Tagovailoa.

Earlier in the season, Tua missed time due to injury before returning to his winning ways prior to the streak. Unfortunately, it looks like the injury bug is rearing his head back towards the signal caller.

It is reported that Tua is now in the NFL's concussion protocol due to symptoms shown in Sunday's game.

At the time, it was determined that Tua was able to finish the game. Clearing in-game protocol from the Miami Dolphins training staff.

Unfortunately, it appears from a hit sustained, the symptoms haven't yet gone away and will need to undergo further evaluation throughout the week before their game with

This isn't the first time this season Tua has been held out due to concussion-like symptoms. Missing two games earlier this season.

His availability for Sunday against the New England Patriots (7-8) is now in question.

Now if Tua continues to show no signs of progress, the Dolphins will be forced to keep their Pro Bowl quarterback out. In the midst of a playoff run they are still very much in.
