Player update will keep the Dolphins on their toes in Week 14

There is a saying that there are no easy games in the NFL. While this may be true for most teams (especially teams that play against weaker competition like the Patriots), the Dolphins are at least able to make it seem like they get an easy game from time to time.
Miami has been dominant on both sides of the ball for long stretches of this season. That should be good enough for the Dolphins to pull out wins during this final stretch of the season leading into the playoffs; but there is one thing standing between them and a 1-0 start to their final five games; Derrick Henry.
While there were some question about Henry's health coming into this game after a dominant performance last week, Henry is set to play against the Dolphins on Monday night, and the Dolphins will need to be ready.
This hasn't exactly been a normal season for Henry. With some changes on the roster, not much of a passing attack, and questionable coaching, Henry's 841 yards and eight touchdowns on the year look a little pedestrian.
Still, you can throw all of that out the window in the cold months.
There is just something about having to try to tackle Henry when it is cold outside. History tells us that this is the time of year where trying to tackle the most physically-impossible running back in the NFL is a zero-sum game, especially with wear and tear and injuries, and that is sure to be the case this week.
Will that be enough to overcome Miami's run defense, a unit that has been very good for most of the season? That much remains to be seen.
The Dolphins have done well to limit opposing running backs to 3.9 yards per carry on the season. Stopping/slowing down Henry is a different matter altogether.
Even if the Dolphins are able to worry less about the pass and focus on stopping the opposing run game, Derrick Henry is the type of back that will still make the most of his touches, especially against a defensive line that is starting to become somewhat depleted.
The good news for the Dolphins is that they will at least have some time to plan for such a matchup, but regardless, it sure won't be easy.
Dolphins have no excuse in Week 13
This should be a straightforward win.
