The 2024 NFL Draft is under two months away, but that's not stopping the Minnesota Vikings from making moves that directly affect its approach.
Per NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Vikings traded picks Nos. 42 (second round), 188 (sixth round), and a 2025 second-rounder to the Houston Texans for the 23rd overall pick and the 232nd overall pick (sixth round) in 2024.
So, what do the Vikings' draft picks now look like after the big move? In all, Minnesota has nine draft picks that include four in the first four rounds (two in the first, two in the fourth).
**Please note picks Nos. 97-on have all been bumped down a spot due to the NFL awarding the Cincinnati Bengals a third-round compensatory pick (No. 97 overall) after initially denying them one. Meaning, the team originally picking at No. 97 now picks at No. 98, the original No. 98 is now No. 99, and so on and so forth.**

- Round 4: No. 129 overall (from DET)

- Round 7: No. 232 overall (from Houston)
Quick take
It's all but certain the Vikings trade up into the top-10 to get a quarterback, at this point. Either that, or they sweat it out at No. 11 in hopes of getting their guy, then filling another spot (think cornerback) at No. 23. But if I were a betting man, my money would be on the former, not the latter.
Either way, it's going to be a very interesting next few weeks for the Vikings.
