Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is running out of single-season records to break.

In Saturday’s thrilling Christmas Eve win over the New York Giants, Jefferson snapped two franchise records. He surpassed Randy Moss for the most receiving yards in a single season (1,632), and blazed past Cris Carter’s single-season record for receptions (122).

He’s also on pace to edge out former Detroit Lions great Calvin Johnson for the NFL’s single-season mark for receiving yards (1,964). Jefferson currently sits at 1,756 receiving yards, which is just 209 yards shy of Megatron's pace.

By definition, one could make the case that Jefferson is the league’s most valuable player. There isn’t another player in the league that has the same impact on a football game as Jefferson does.

However, if Jefferson can’t win the NFL’s MVP award, which will likely go to a quarterback, perhaps the league’s Offensive Player of the Year award will do.

In fact, DraftKings Sportsbook currently has Jefferson listed as the runaway favorite to win OPOY honors at -800. Miami Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill is in a distant second (+1400), followed by the two MVP candidates in Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (+1600) and Eagles QB Jalen Hurts (+1800).

Surely the Vikings would love to see Jefferson walk away with some hardware after this spectacular season. That being said, Minnesota has its sights set on the Lombardi Trophy, establishing themselves as one of the hottest teams in the sport.
