Drew Gilbert was a fan favorite during his time with the Tennessee Vols. He was selected by the Houston Astros in the first round of this year's MLB Draft. Gilbert sustained a scary injury on Saturday while crashing into the outfield wall as he tried to make a catch. He was carted off the field.

Luckily, the injury does not seem as serious as it seemed it could have been.

There is no known timetable, but you have to think that the organization is relieved that there was no concussion or neck injury. Instead, Gilbert just has the forearm injury. Hopefully, he will be back on the field very soon. Vols fans have been following his minor league career very closely so far.
