The Tennessee Titans signed former Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Andre Dillard to a three-year deal this past offseason with hopes of bringing some veteran experience to their offensive line.
However, Dillard's start to the 2023 season has been far from a pretty one, leaving fans wondering if they'll be stuck with him for all three years.
Let's take a look at Dillard's contract below.
Andre Dillard's Contract Breakdown
According to Over the Cap, Dillard’s three-year deal is worth a base salary of $29 million. $13 million of that is guaranteed, while $10 million is fully guaranteed. He also received a $5.9 million signing bonus.
The Titans added two void years to Dillard’s deal, which helped lower his 2023 cap hit to $2.5 million. With those void years, the Titans will take a dead cap hit of $2.3 million in 2026 and then $1.1 million in 2027.
If the Titans wanted to move on from Dillard, then 2025 would be their best bet, leaving them with a reasonable dead-cap hit of $3.5 million.
If the Titans chose to move on from Dillard before the 2025 season, then they would take a dead-cap hit of $7.7 million.
Through just three games with Tennessee, Dillard has allowed four sacks and over 10 pressures.
Prior to this season, Dillard had allowed a total of just five sacks and 45 quarterback pressures in 444 NFL pass blocking snaps.
