The Tennessee Vols just won the SEC Tournament for the first time in 43 years.

And they still somehow got disrespected on a national level.

We've touched on it already — the Vols were robbed of being a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. The numbers show that Tennessee had a better resumé than Duke and it really wasn't even close. Yet Duke got a No. 2 seed and Tennessee got a No. 3 seed.

There isn't even one thing on Duke's resumé that's better than Tennessee's.

If you were finally calming down from the Vols getting bumped out of a No. 2 seed because of Duke, I'm about to make you angry all over again.

The new AP Top 25 poll was released on Monday and Tennessee is ranked No. 5.

That's right. The No. 5 team in the country is also a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament. There's no world in which that makes sense.

Tennessee is closer to being a No. 1 seed than they are a No. 3 seed. It's one of the worst mis-seedings in NCAA Tournament history.

Vols head coach Rick Barnes was right when he said on Monday that the selection committee should have to answer questions from the media the day after Selection Sunday.

Tennessee deserves an answer. Some may say it doesn't matter because there's not a big difference between a No. 2 seed and a No. 3 seed. But I think something this egregious throws the entire legitimacy of the selection process into question.

I can't blame Vol fans for being upset. This is just blatant favoritism toward Duke. And everyone knows it.
