The Tennessee Titans hired Brian Callahan as their new head coach on Wednesday and now their next order of business is to find their offensive and defensive staff.

On Thursday, the Titans requested their first interview with Baltimore Ravens defensive backs coach Dennard Wilson for their vacant defensive coordinator position, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported.

Before Wilson entered the coaching realm, he was a pro scout for the Chicago Bears for four years. From there, he coached the defensive backs for the Rams, Jets, Eagles and Ravens.

Wilson, 41, joined Baltimore's staff this past season following a two-year stint in Philadelphia.

Under Wilson, the Eagles were the league's top-ranked pass defense in 2022 while the Ravens finished with the sixth-best pass defense this year.

Wilson is no stranger to the Titans' front office as he has a strong connection to general manager Ran Carthon after they spent five seasons together at the then-St. Louis Rams (2012-16).

The New York Giants are also interested in Wilson for their open defensive coordinator job.
