Tennessee needs elite recruits. We all know this.
But in the current college football landscape, there are tons of factors that weigh in on where prospects choose to go to college. Between NIL deals, coaches, and win-loss records, recruits have a lot to consider in their school choices.
One elite recruit that Tennessee is trying to land using any tactic they can is 5-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava. He's wanted by some of the biggest programs in America including Alabama and Oregon, so getting his commitment certainly won't be easy.
We wrote last week that computer projections currently don't think the Vols have a great shot at getting Iamaleava. But according to reports, Nico and his family will be visiting Knoxville for three days this weekend and that presents a golden opportunity for Josh Heupel to put the hard sell on this prized prospect.
