This week, the Florida Gators reportedly lost an NIL bidding war with Miami for a blue-chip recruit. Following the player's decision, a lawyer involved in the deal blasted Florida’s NIL collective saying that it was the “most dysfunctional collective in all of college football.”

The collective disputed the claims but it was a bad look for the Gators, nonetheless. So, is there a way for Tennessee to take advantage of this embarrassment or will it even make much of a difference in the hectic SEC recruiting landscape?
