The Tennessee Titans' search for a new head coach is underway and a couple of big names have already been ruled out for the job.
According to The Athletic's Dianna Russini, Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and Bill Belichick, who mutually agreed to part ways with the New England Patriots on Thursday, are not on the Titans' list of candidates.
Russini also noted that the Titans are open to an offensive minded or a defensive minded coach.
The Titans have already submitted interview requests for numerous candidates, including Bengals OC Brian Callahan, Eagles OC Brian Johnson, Texans OC Bobby Slowik, Lions DC Aaron Glenn, Lions OC Ben Johnson, Raiders interim HC Antonio Pierce, Cowboys DC Dan Quinn, Ravens DC Mike MacDonald, and Giants OC Mike Kafka.
All of those candidates are also in the mix for other open NFL head coaching jobs.
