The Tennessee Vols will look to stay hot this weekend when they take on the Virginia Cavaliers in their College World Series opener.

Tennessee advanced to Omaha after taking down LSU in two games in the Super Regional in Knoxville.

Virginia made it to Omaha via a 2-1 series win against Dallas Baptist in the Columbia Super Regional.

The Vols and the Cavaliers will take the field at 2 PM ET on Sunday afternoon.

On Tuesday, 247Sports made their prediction for the matchup. And they're predicting that Tennessee will come out on top.

Here's what they had to say:

On paper, this looks like a pretty even matchup in terms of starting pitching. Virginia’s Andrew Abbott (3.04 ERA) has had a tough go of it recently though, allowing four runs in each of his two postseason starts — granted he tossed a gem against Notre Dame in the ACC Tournament three starts ago.

Neither of these teams feature lineups with a ton of .300 hitters, although the Vols have a lot more power; Tennessee has five players with more home runs than any of the Cavaliers. Chad Dallas is toward the bottom of the No. 1 starters in Omaha but does have good stuff and should do enough here.

The Vols are definitely the favorites in this game, but anything can happen in Omaha.

Fortunately for Tennessee, they have a lot of positive momentum right now.
