One of the most coveted players in the NCAA transfer portal is reportedly set to visit the Tennessee Vols this weekend.

According to The Athletic's Bruce Feldman, Rhode Island offensive lineman Ajani Cornelius will visit Tennessee and Ohio State this weekend.

Cornelius is one of those rare "hidden gems" that didn't generate much interest as a high school recruit, but he's now poised to help a top college football program.

The New York native was the third-highest-graded FCS offensive lineman in the nation this past season (per Pro Football Focus). When you include FBS offensive linemen, Cornelius was the 13th highest graded.

With Vols right tackle Darnell Wright heading to the NFL, Cornelius could slide right into Tennessee's starting lineup and provide UT with some valuable experience.

Cornelius has a reputation as an excellent run blocker and capable pass blocker. He obviously hasn't played at an SEC level, but he's shown on film that he has SEC talent.

The one weakness for Cornelius is when it comes to committing penalties. He had 10 penalties in 11 games last season. That's something he'll need to clean up at the next level.

If Cornelius commits to Tennessee, he'll get coached up by Vols offensive line coach Glen Elarbee, one of the best in the business.
