A former Tennessee Vols standout was named by ESPN as one of the biggest Pro Bowl snubs this year.
Pro Bowl rosters were announced on Wednesday night and Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith, a former Vol, wasn't included.
Smith, a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, has become a key player for the Chiefs over the last two seasons. And ESPN thinks he should've been a Pro Bowler.

Kansas City teammate Joe Thuney got the well-deserved nod, but Smith should have been right alongside him. Smith ranks fourth in pass block win rate among guards this season, well ahead of Nelson, who quietly has not played at his usual level this season. Nelson ranks 38th — right around league average — in the same stat.
There's no good reason for Smith to be left off the Pro Bowl roster. His numbers are better than Quenton Nelson's numbers, who was named to the Pro Bowl over Smith.
When you consider all that Smith has had to overcome to get to where he's at — he almost had to quit football because of blood clots in his lungs while at Tennessee — it's even more impressive what he's accomplished so far in the NFL.
Hopefully, for Smith's sake, he'll be named to the Pro Bowl as an alternate.
