For the first time since the start of the 2022 season, the Tennessee Vols aren't ranked in the AP Top 25 poll.
Tennessee entered the final week of the regular season as the No. 25 team in the nation. And despite the Vols' 48-24 win against Vanderbilt on Senior Day, the Vols fell out of the top 25 on Sunday afternoon when the new poll was released.
UT is essentially the No. 26 team in the nation.
ESPN's FPI (Football Power Index) rankings, however, have a more favorable view of Tennessee.
The FPI rankings, which uses data instead of opinion, have the Vols as the No. 17 team in the nation.
Missouri, which is 10-2, is ranked just one spot ahead of Tennessee in the FPI rankings.

Tennessee was ranked No. 21 in the College Football Playoff rankings last week. It'll certainly be interesting to see if they move up any on Tuesday night when the new playoff rankings are revealed.
