Tennessee Vols

It's been over 12 years since Lane Kiffin was the head coach of the Tennessee Vols, but it feels like Rocky Top is still on his mind every day.

Kiffin loves to poke and prod at Vols fans on social media. Rarely does a week go by that he doesn't send a tweet directed at Tennessee.

And this week was no exception.

On Wednesday night, Kiffin sent a tweet that was nothing more than a photo — one that Vols fans immediately recognized.

If for some reason you don't recognize that photo, it's from the night that Kiffin abruptly resigned from Tennessee to take the USC job (oddly enough, it seems like Kiffin never directs tweets at Trojans fans).

There's no context for the photo, which of course resulted in folks going into full detective mode.

Does he miss the Vols? Is he leaving Ole Miss for Auburn?

Valid questions. But considering it's Kiffin, he probably just randomly ran across the photo and tweeted it out. Rarely do any of his tweets actually have a hidden meaning. He just does it to get fans riled up and to get people like me to foolishly write about it.

Mission accomplished, Lane. Can't wait to see what the next Vols-related tweet is because we all know it's coming.
