Former Tennessee Vols edge rusher Byron Young, a third round selection by the Los Angeles Rams earlier this spring, is continuing to look like one of the bigger steals in the 2023 NFL Draft after another impressive performance.

In Young's first career game last week against the Seattle Seahawks, the former Vol totaled four tackles, a half sack, and two quarterback hits.

Young followed up his strong debut in Week One with another solid performance in Week Two. In the Rams' loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, Young accumulated five tackles, a sack, and two more quarterback hits.

It can often take rookie edge rushers most of their rookie season to "settle in" before they consistently make an impact.

The fact that Young has nine tackles, 1.5 sacks, and four quarterback hits through his first two NFL starts (in divisional games I might add) isn't just impressive, it's a sign that the former Tennessee standout has star potential in the NFL.
