A former Tennessee Vols standout who transferred after the 2020 season is projected to be a first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
ESPN's Matt Miller released his early 2023 NFL Mock draft this past week and he has former Vols linebacker Henry To'o To'o being selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the No. 20 overall pick.
From ESPN:
The middle of the Baltimore defense could use a spark, and Alabama's fast, instinctive To'o To'o could be perfect for that role. At 6-foot-2, 228 pounds, he's a little lean, but his speed and instincts make him a threat in the run and pass games, as seen by his 111 tackles, four sacks and two passes defensed during his first year in the Crimson Tide scheme.

To'o To'o entered the transfer portal in early 2020, just two days after Jeremy Pruitt was fired by Tennessee. Josh Heupel was hired a few days later, but To'o To'o, according to Heupel, never seriously considered rejoining the Vols.
“I think that ship, in his mind, had probably pretty much sailed,” said Heupel before Tennessee played Alabama last season. “He was no longer on campus, was not here in Knoxville and was back home.”
To'o To'o had a career-high 111 tackles for Alabama last season. The former four-star recruit is expected to be one of the Crimson Tide's top defenders in 2022.
