Former Tennessee Vols standout Ramon Foster announced the end of his NFL career earlier this spring, but that doesn't mean he's totally leaving the sports world behind.

Foster will be announced on Tuesday morning as Jason Martin's new morning show co-host on 104.5 The Zone in Nashville (the announcement can be heard on The Midday 180 at 10am CT).

Foster, who is originally from Henning, TN, retired from the NFL in March after 11 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The former Vol went undrafted in the 2009 NFL Draft, but he was quickly signed by the Steelers. Foster ended up playing in 160 games for the Steelers during his career (out of a possible 176 games).

Since retiring from the NFL in March, Foster has been a regular in-studio guest on the Midday 180. He's also been contributing to various publications as a writer.
