A former Tennessee Vols standout who was selected in the 2023 NFL Draft was listed as a starter on the first depth chart of the preseason.
Outside linebacker Byron Young was listed with the first team defense on the Los Angeles Rams' depth chart that was released on Tuesday.
Young, who was selected by the Rams in the third round of the draft, played at Tennessee from 2021 to 2022.

If Young can make an impact as a rookie — and playing alongside future Hall of Fame defensive lineman Aaron Donald should help — it would give Tennessee a significant boost when it comes to landing top defensive recruits.
