Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt has silenced quite a few critics since the start of NFL training camp.

Hyatt, a third round selection by the New York Giants in the 2023 NFL Draft, has impressed in recent days with his breakaway speed, quick cuts, and attention to detail.

There were plenty of questions during the pre-draft process about whether or not Hyatt could be a "complete receiver" in the NFL. The former Vol has quickly erased those questions with his performance during training camp.

And if you don't believe me, just listen to what Hyatt's teammate Adoreé Jackson had to say this week.

Jackson, a former Tennessee Titans cornerback who was selected in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft, had nothing but positive things to say about Hyatt on Thursday.

"I think he does a great job of running routes, honestly," said Jackson. "It's just so funny — whatever they said he couldn't do, I'm seeing him do it.  Getting out of his breaks, he knows how to sell (the route). He's good at press coverage. And if you're [playing] off, it's the same way. So I think he does a lot of great things well. I think when you hear what you can't do, you work on it. And he's coming out here showing that he can be a complete receiver."

Jackson, who was the Pac-12 defensive player of the year in 2016, is also impressed by how Hyatt runs.

"It is very impressive how fluid and smooth he is when he's running," said Jackson. "I like that a lot about him."

After all of the discussion from talking heads about Hyatt's route-route running abilities and if Tennessee's offense prepared him for the NFL, it's been nothing from praise from the Giants players and coaches that are on the field with the former Vol every day. Hyatt proved a lot of folks wrong in 2022 at Tennessee. It looks like he's well on his way to doing that in the NFL, too.
