Former Tennessee Vols linebacker Henry To'o To'o, who transferred to Alabama after the 2020 season, spoke this week about the trash talk that was directed at him during his return to Neyland Stadium in 2022.

To'o To'o spoke to reporters at the NFL Draft combine in Indianapolis on Wednesday.

The former Tennessee linebacker heard plenty of trash talk this past season from some of his former teammates, including tight end Princeton Fant.

Fant, who was To'o To'o's teammate for two seasons, mocked the Alabama linebacker's "it's just business" comments that were made the night before Tennessee's 52-49 win against the Crimson Tide.

To'o To'o admitted this week that the best trash talk he heard all season came from Vols fans and players.

“Man, a lot of people were saying a lot of bad things about me leaving Tennessee and how the people at Tennessee hated me," said To'o To'o (via 247Sports). "But definitely going back there and seeing my past brothers that I played with for two years, it was nothing but love. Seeing that orange, seeing that crowd and that fan base and how passionate they were, that’ll never get old. Rocky Top is definitely one of those special places.”

When asked about the best trash talk he heard, To'o To'o was quick to give credit to his former teammates.

“Definitely my guys at Tennessee,” said To'o To'o. “They can talk some trash. Them guys at Tennessee like talking trash.”

There's no doubt that the Vols have an edge about them under Josh Heupel. Tennessee has its swagger back and we saw plenty of instances of that during a memorable 2022 season.
