Former Tennessee Vols running back Alvin Kamara is confident in his former college team this season.

He's so confident, in fact, that he hasn't been scared to make some bets with his New Orleans Saints teammates.

Kamara told reporters on Thursday that he won $1,000 from teammate Marcus Maye thanks to the Vols' win over the Florida Gators two weeks ago.

Maye, however, hasn't paid up yet.

Maye played at Florida from 2013 to 2016. That means Kamara and Maye played each other twice in college (2015 and 2016). The Gators won in 2015 while the Vols won in 2016.

Kamara didn't make a big impact in either game, but that was because of the coaching staff at Tennessee. He received only five carries in the game in 2015 and only two carries in 2016.

Regardless of what happened in the past between Tennessee and Florida, the Vols are making Kamara some money in the present — as long as his temmates actually pay up.
