The Tennessee Titans have the No. 11 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and because the franchise has a new general manager, we don't have a great idea of how they plan to use that pick.

New Titans general manager Ran Carthon could choose to trade down to net some more draft capital, or he could decide to trade up and land one of the top quarterbacks in the draft (seems unlikely, but it's still possible).

For now, most mock drafts are assuming the Titans stay put at No. 11.

The majority of mock drafts we've seen have the Titans selecting an offensive tackle with the No. 11 pick.

Pro Football Network's latest mock draft, however, has the Titans targeting a skill position player early in the first round.

PFN has the Titans drafting Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt with the No. 11 overall selection.

From PFN:

A top offensive lineman would be the pick if one is available, but there’s not a great candidate on the board. Instead, Jalin Hyatt fills the Titans’ need for speed at receiver. The local product has to be part of a revamped offense that features more playmaking and explosive plays.

It's hard to see this pick actually happening.

For starters, this is the highest I've seen Hyatt go in a mock draft. While I've seen him go in the first round in numerous mock drafts, he usually goes somewhere in the No. 25 to No. 31 range.

Hyatt obviously has the talent to be a great player in the NFL — he will instantly be one of the fastest players in the league when he's drafted.

But the Titans have bigger needs — like the offensive line. And I'm not sure Hyatt fits into the Titans' offensive philosophy (though perhaps that changes under new offensive coordinator Tim Kelly).

If Hyatt runs in the 4.2 range at the combine, it's possible that we see him jump into the top 20 or maybe even the top 15. But I'd still be surprised if he landed with the Titans.
