Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jauan Jennings got to experience a pretty cool moment this past weekend with a future Pro Football Hall of Famer.
Jennings, who plays for the San Francisco 49ers, played against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday.
After the 49ers' 35-7 win, Jennings posted a photo on Instagram with Brady. The photo showed Brady autographing Jennings' jersey (while Jennings was still wearing the jersey).
"Dreamed of playing with greats since a kid, and now it’s a reality!" wrote Jennings in the caption of the photo. "The words from Tom Brady were worth more than the signature! Beyond grateful! Niners Win Baby!"
Jennings caught just one pass for five yards in the 49ers' win.
The former Vol has 27 receptions for 308 yards and a touchdown this season. Jennings isn't an NFL superstar, but he's become a key player for San Francisco. That likely isn't a surprise to Tennessee fans who watched him leave it all on the field during his five seasons on Rocky Top.
