If you're wondering whether or not NFL players talk about which coaches they like and don't like, the answer is yes they absolutely do.
This past weekend at the Pro Bowl, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby were caught on film talking about various NFL head coaches.
Mahomes first mentioned that Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is like a cool uncle, before saying that he thinks Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel would be an awesome coach.
"He's a player, so he understands, but he's going to make sure you get your s–t done," said Mahomes in a clip from NFL Films.
Mahomes is one of the best players in the NFL. And an endorsement from Mahomes means a lot in the NFL world.
If a free agent is down to a couple of teams and he's having trouble deciding, the reputation of Vrabel as a player's coach could end up being what seals the deal for the Titans.
Money is the biggest part of signing a free agent, but culture matters, too.
And Vrabel has built an extremely strong culture in Tennessee.
