New York Giants starting quarterback Daniel Jones was asked during a media session on Wednesday about the progress he's seen from former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt over the last couple of months.

Hyatt, a third round selection by the Giants in the 2023 NFL Draft, has elite speed and he's shown an ability to run crisp routes during preseason action.

Unsurprisingly, Jones is a fan of what he's seen so far from Hyatt.

"I think he's made a ton of progress," said Jones when asked about Hyatt. "Worked really hard to do it. So large credit to him and how he's gone about his work. He's made a tremendous amount of progress, shown up throughout camp making plays. We'll continue to work toward improving all together. And yeah, he's in a good spot."

Hyatt has proven during training camp and preseason action that his skills translate to the NFL. With the regular season as his next test, it's now time for Hyatt to show what he can do in games that matter.

And based on what we saw from Hyatt in the preseason, I'm willing to bet we see some fireworks from the former Vol this fall.
