The Tennessee Titans had a very interesting 2022 NFL Draft class.
It's early on in their careers, but how well have they played so far given their selection spot?
Round 1, Pick 18: Treylon Burks
GRADE: B-
Burks is a bit of a hard player to grade after one season.
His injuries early on kept him off the field, but his play when he returned was impressive. He is clearly the Titans' top target on the outside, and his versatility can be key with more unique play-calling.
Offensive coordinator Tim Kelly needs to find ways to get Burks involved more going forward. His physical abilities are clear.
Round 2, Pick 35: Roger McCreary
GRADE: C-
McCreary started off pretty strong for Tennessee. Injuries made his rookie year a bit tougher, though. As the season went on, his play wavered a bit.
The Titans still believe they have a solid CB in McCreary, but he will have to make strides in year two. His aggressive play at the college level hasn't made the transition to the pros quite yet.
Round 3, Pick 69: Nicholas Petit-Frere
GRADE: B
The young offensive tackle showed some impressive flashes, but their inconsistent play across the entire offensive line didn't help him. Overall, he gets a bit of a bump in his grade due to the dire need for him to play in his first season.
The Titans probably didn't envision NPF starting right off the rip for them, but he had to for part of the season. He had inconsistencies, but that's nothing surprising for a third-round rookie.
The Titans will need more out of this rookie class going forward. The picks in the second half of the draft have not contributed very much so far.
If these three can become staple starters for Tennessee, that would be massive for their future outlook.
