The Parlay: Grizzlies (-11.5) + Steven Adams OVER 9.5 rebounds (+220)
Memphis has thrived as favorites this season, compiling a 20-11 record against the spread in that role. In fact, the Grizzlies have covered six consecutive games when listed as favorites. The last meeting between these two teams came a month ago on January 6 in Memphis, where the Grizzlies dominated Detroit in a 118-88 route.
While the Grizzlies stayed put at the deadline, the Pistons moved two role players in Josh Jackson (7.1 PPG) and Trey Lyles (10.4 PPPG) to the Sacramento Kings as part of a four-team deal thinning out Detroit’s bench for tonight’s matchup.
Grizzlies Center Steven Adams dominated the glass in the first meeting between these two. Adams finished with 14 rebounds capitalizing on Detroit’s deficiencies on the boards, as the Pistons rank 28th in the NBA in rebounding. Adams has grabbed 11+ rebounds in four of his last five games and is a major reason why Memphis leads the league in rebounding as a team.
