Possibly the most impressive element of Tennessee football's incredible 5-0 start to the 2022 season has been the Vols' wide receivers. Star wideout Cedric Tillman went out with injury against Akron in week 3 and since then, Tillman's healthy counterparts have stepped up in a massive way. In Saturday's blowout win over LSU, transfer WR Bru McCoy exploded for 140 yards receiving and junior Jalin Hyatt caught two touchdowns.

During the Big Orange Gameday Reaction show, we were asked if these star-making performances mean that Tennessee is back to being "Wide Receiver U." Former Vols quarterback Jonathan Crompton and I responded to that very interesting question and talked about the role of the wide receivers in the Vols' overall offense.
