Former Tennessee Vols wide receiver Jalin Hyatt is quickly becoming a fan favorite with the New York Giants.
After being held without a catch in the Giants' Week One loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Hyatt returned to the field in Week 2 and led New York in receiving in an impressive 31-28 comeback win against the Arizona Cardinals.
Hyatt caught two passes for 89 yards, including a 58-yard reception on the Giants' first play of the second half that jump started New York's comeback from a 20-0 halftime deficit.
The big plays aren't the only thing that Giants fans are loving about Hyatt. They also love his sideline demeanor.
Hyatt has already been captured multiple times hyping up teammates on the sidelines while staying intently engaged in the game.
Some players just seem to have that "it factor" and that certainly seems to be the case with Hyatt.
By the way, remember all the talk this offseason about Hyatt not being ready for the NFL because of the offense he played in at Tennessee?
Well that Tennessee offense isn't doing too hot without him, scoring just 16 points in a loss last weekend to an average Florida team (that's not a Florida insult, Gators fans know they've had much better teams in Gainesville).
I don't think we'll be hearing any more hot takes about Hyatt and the offense he played in during his final two years in college.
