San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings was asked this week about his former Tennessee Vols teammate Josh Dobbs, who is currently the Arizona Cardinals' starting quarterback (while Kyler Murray is still out).

Dobbs, who was selected in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, earned his first win as an NFL starting quarterback this past week against the Dallas Cowboys.

Jennings was asked by a reporter if he's been surprised by Dobbs' play this season.

"It didn't surprise me," said Jennings. "Everybody always asks me about Dobbs when he's playing. I always tell them 'you can't count Dobbs out'. Very smart [player]."

"I remember last year with Tennessee (Titans), they brought him in and he had a week to learn the playbook," continued Jennings. "And the guy came out there and did probably the best of over half the quarterbacks in the league. I'm always behind Dobbs. I ride with Dobbs. I like Dobbs."

Jennings was then asked about some of his favorite memories with Dobbs at Tennessee. And Jennings revealed his two favorite passes that he caught from Dobbs (neither will come as a surprise to Vols fans).

"Great leader, he ran the offense well," said Jennings. "Every game you could count on Dobbs. He's going to punch one in the end zone with his legs. His biggest target was my dog Josh Malone. But when we did connect, we found ways to get into the end zone as well."

"The one I remember the most was Jalen Tabor (former Gators DB) against Florida, we beat Florida at home," added Jennings. "And then Georgia, the Hail Mary. An away game. Me and Dobbs, great nights, man. Great memories."

Jennings' juggling catch against Tabor in 2016 sent Neyland into a frenzy (and it put the Vols up for good against the Gators that afternoon).

The Hail Mary catch from Jennings just a week later to beat Kirby Smart and Georgia in Athens cemented the wide receiver as a Vol legend forever.

It's easy to see why Jennings is one of the most beloved Vols of all time.
