Former Tennessee Vols quarterback Josh Dobbs scored his first NFL rushing touchdown last week in the Arizona Cardinals' 31-28 loss to the New York Giants.
Dobbs, who was making his second start for the Cardinals after getting traded to Arizona before the start of the season, scored on an impressive 23-yard touchdown run that featured the former Tennessee quarterback bowling over a defender to get into the end zone.
On Wednesday, Dobbs was asked about his touchdown run and the aerospace engineering major used physics to explain how he was able to score.
"It's like simple physics," said Dobbs. "A body in motion stays in motion. You gotta apply more force than the opposite force coming at you. We were able to do that and get into the end zone."
