Georgia Bulldogs fans tried to make fun of the Tennessee Vols and the Big Orange faithful on Saturday during ESPN's College GameDay, but it didn't go quite as planned.

A couple of the signs that Georgia fans were holding weren't thought out very well.

The first one was a sign that attempted to throw shade at Tennessee fans for tearing the goalposts down at Neyland after the Vols' big win against Alabama last month.

The only problem with that sign?

Georgia fans tore down the goalposts at Sanford Stadium in 2000 after the Bulldogs beat a 2-2 Tennessee team that was ranked No. 21 in the nation (UGA was ranked No. 19 at the time).

Ouch. Not a good look, Georgia fans.

Another Bulldogs fan held up a sign that said "Orange is dumb".

The fan had on a pair of orange gloves and an orange Home Depot hard hat (talk about a self-own).

And the irony wasn't lost on one of ESPN's studio hosts.

Georgia has a great football team that's undoubtedly locked in this week. Their fan base, however, clearly isn't as locked in.
