Mississippi State head coach Mike Leach is never afraid to speak his mind.
So it shouldn't be a surprise that Leach was as candid as ever after the Bulldogs' 30-6 loss to Alabama on Saturday.
Leach told reporters that his players were intimidated by Alabama simply because they're Alabama.
"We got some guys that are afraid of the jersey that says Alabama," said Leach after the loss. "We spend a lot of time frightened of their jerseys. If you want to scare some of these guys on our team, put an Alabama jersey on, it'll scare the hell out of them."
Leach never holds back and never uses coach speak. Whatever you think of him as a coach, one thing is certain — you can never call him boring.
